I have rented at this place often over the years and had good experiences for the most part. The only problem is that the store has only one service counter person. So more than one customer can cause a back up. Mostly from stupid customers asking questions.
My friend reserved a car and paid for it ahead of tIme. I take her to get the car and they don’t have any cars available. The employees were not helpful and very rude. She called customer service and they told her there are a shortage of cars in Florida. Why would a company allow reservations to be booked knowing they have no cars. Unbelievable.
Don’t ever rent from Budget especially the location at 19600 North US Hwy 1 Tequesta, FL 33469.
Second time my friend rented a car there and there was drama in the reception area we had to wait for the drama to end in order to get the car that we already reserved. when we got the car it was dirty again. What gives. Go to a different town. It's not the company. Budget normally is good

Bad Experience - Recently rented a Hyundai Sante Fe. I pulled off the lot and the minute I began to apply the brakes, it seemed that the entire front end was going to collapse. I rented right at closing time so I knew was gone because he left when I did. As I approached speeds of 34-40mph the car was shaking. Putting on the brakes and it was clear that this piece of junk needed an alignment. I live less than 2 miles from this location but in order to replace the rental I had to drive all the way to the Palm Beach Airport. I paid online and asked for something like a Rav. I got a dirty, smelly, poorly maintained vehicle. Never again.
